On the tip of my heels

To make your heels comfortable for everyday wear, here are some tips you might mind useful...

Put on some moisturizing lotion. When wearing heels, using moisturizing lotion will keep your skin soft so that straps and buckles slide back and forth evenly, avoiding blisters and abrasions. Bring a small bottle of lotion to reapply if you start to feel your skin getting irritated.

Give your feet a break. When walking in heels, sit down every 20 minutes or so. If you're in the bathroom, sit down. Don't take your heels off, this will only allow the pain to worsen. They swell a bit after you take them off, which makes it harder to continue after.

Wear heels at least 2-3 times a week. When wearing flats, our feet grow accustomed to our weight being applied evenly. If we only put on heels once in a while, the weight fluctuation is a total shock and can cause a lot of irritation. Furthermore, wearing flip flops every day allows our feet to expand, making it harder to walk on a narrower sole.

Happy wearing heels, girls! :)
